Maria's Tiny Barn was exactly what the other reviews said.
not only the building, but Maria herself is a very sweet lady, and we were able to have her show us around her beautiful premises.
the building is really 'tiny' and looks like a doll's house. needless to say, our little one was overjoyed. :D
wifi was stable, everything we needed was provided and we had a very comfortable stay.
also it was a very convenient stopping point for Key West.

This is 10-20 minutes from Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, the reason whey we booked. There are many neighborhoods and as a result there are many storefronts to serve the neighborhoods. This was very convenient overall.

Free parking abd breakfast.
HJowever, the receptionist was very uncooperative, disinterested in helping me and down right rude. Could hardly be bothered to look at me to answer where the room was.
the room was situated in a very poor place, was similar to being in a shanty ghetto. Run down and needing a face lift.

The Tiny Barn was a perfect base for the time we spent in the Everglades. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We did not even turn the TV on. Being located in an Orchard was really good and secluded. Want to stay again. Local restaurants were very good. Havana Spice and Shavers were great local non chain places full of local guests.

In room coffee maker was not what was told they had ( pods ) so after bringing my own coffee mugs , Pods , Creamer and water even a spoon , when I explained to front desk they apologized and searched the property and brought me a coffee a Keurig coffee maker and made my day , they definitely went above and beyond, as far as ice machine on 4th floor it was out of order having to go to another floor

You demand a deposit of $383.00 the day of arrival, I think we should have been told at time of booking. At check out we made sure everything was as we received. Now you hold the deposit saying we damaged your sheets and towels, that's a con and you know it. Potential renters before you leave take PICTURES of everything. Management is a lier and a crook. Beware!!! Cover yourself otherwise they will wrongfully steal your deposit. They did. Ours..if you can stayway from them pass this on to other innocent vacationers.
I needed a place to sleep, shower, and a clean room. The location was close to my work , although the staff at the front desk was not there often except when I needed to check in, I'm sure they were on-site to help but I didn't need any. the room was clean and basic things in the kitchen area were a nice bonus. the cost was the best rate I could find and met my expectations.
If you are looking for a cost effective Clean place to stay this is it.
I loved everything about this property. The front desk staff was awesome from the moment I entered the door. The ladies had such great personalities and were so professional. The room was modern and comfortable. Parking was plentiful. The food was tasty and the staff was accommodating. It’s been quite a while since a hotel checked all of my boxes and the Homestead, FL location is definitely a gem. Kudos to you!
Check-in procedure was easy and satisfying. The rooms were clean and met our expectations. Parking directly in front of the hotel was free. A low-traffic WiFi-connection was free to use, a more powerful connection was available for 5$. The area around the hotel was calm and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Beds were ok, shower was huge, had plenty of towels. Safe area we left our boat in a parking spot while we went out exploring the keys and it was there when we returned. Much cheaper staying here to visit the keys with easy access. Would stay again for location.
The staff was very helpful and friendly from the lady in the dining room to the general manager. The GM took a personal interest in a problem we had. (It was not with the hotel itself) If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay here.
The room was large and clean and fairly quiet. The location is quite remote but handy for traveling while on a trip and there were several restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The facilities etc are what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn.
Great hotel and perfect location to explore the Everglades. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was included with plenty of options. Several restaurants within walking distance and not far from huge Walmart and Keys outlet mall.
The house is larger than advertised, plenty of space and a lovely location in the farmlands west of Homestead, convenient access to the airport and Everglades NP. helpful and accommodating host.
The place is close to the Florida Keys, has parking spots and breakfast is available. The reception is 24/7 and the process was quick and easy. I could even leave the deposit in cash.
Great location within really easy access to both entrances to Everglades and short distance to start of motorway for Florida keys. Good kitchen facilities and cosy living room
The hotel was great, clean, close to different shops.
The employees were very friendly.
The common areas were very good.
The breakfast was really good.
