The vibe around the hotel whilst we were there was laid back..the breakfast has everything you could want including pad Thai green curry etc etc normally with lovely accoutrements. Manager upgraded our room without additional charge. He, along with the rest of the staff, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an infinity pool! We often swam in the pool in the evening after dinner. The hotel provides towels for both the beach and pool. Great location on a quiet street directly on Kai Bae Beach. It’s within walking distance to 7-Eleven, restaurants, shops, etc. We rented a scooter so we could visit other parts of Koh Chang. Breakfast buffet with both Thai and western dishes.

my favorite hotel on Koh Chang. I stay there every year. For me, the most ideal location in my opinion. Not far from lonely beach (5 minutes by bike, which can be rented at the hotel). Around the corner is a store that is open until 12 at night, a laundry and restaurants. The houses are located in a green garden, spaced apart from each other, which creates additional privacy. Very friendly staff). Ideal price-quality ratio. If you are a package tourist, then this hotel is unlikely to suit you.з

We stayed at their family room and it was huge. The hotel building is located about 500m from the beach but there is a non stop golf cart service to take you there. Very nice beach with a fabulous pool and a good restaurant. All facilities very clean and well maintained, good breakfast. This is a good place to stay if you want quiet beach time and/or explore the east coast of Koh Chang.

There is nothing to add that hasn‘t been written by the other reviewers: The Baan Nim Ram is the place to stay on Koh Chang if you are looking for the perfect combination of tranquility, comfort and hospitality. The owners‘ attention to detail is unrivaled and lets you enjoy a moderately priced stay feeling like the guest of a five-star hotel. Highly recommended!

Best accommodation in Koh Chang for Low Budget! Amazing seaview, hammock on the balcony, very good WiFi, Moskito net, clean and quiet. The owners are the most friendly and helpful people I ever met in Thailand. There is even a water boiler which you can use, a really delicious café/restaurant next door, and two cute cats who love to cuddle.

Fred & Beau were really welcoming, friendly and helpful, made me feel like home. Room was actually bigger than it seemed on the pictures. When I left Koh Chang, I forgot my bank card to the room and they sent it with express delivery to my Bangkok hotel, I'm very grateful for that.

I love it there! I've been twice and I'm sure I'll come again and again. I'm not looking for luxury, I'm looking for Thailand and I found it on Koh Chang. Somewhere in Phuket, I felt a bit like I was in Europe. Plus, very calm sea with no surf, love Koh Chang.

We really like to stay in this hotel, staff is absolutely amasing, so kind and friendly. They try to do everything that you feel like at home, so if we will came in the Koh Chang again we will stay only in this hotel. Capuchino in the morning was delicious. Thank you very much.

This is the best accommodation and restaurant on the island of Koh Change. We went out for meals only to discover that saying at our hotel was better, a rare thing in most hotels. People from surrounding hotels came to us everyday. Staff and ownership gave superb service.

The hotel is of course on one of the nicest beaches on Koh Chang. It is a huge resort with many facilities and pools. The room selection is a bit hard as there are many buildings and of course the buildings on the sea-side facing rooms is nicer but less budget friendly.

What a little gem on Koh Chang. This hotel is the perfect getaway. Very quiet hotel complex with very nice pools. If you hire a scooter for the time, it's the perfect place to switch off and still be in lively corners of the island within 10 minutes by scooter

Spacious, modern villa in a quiet place. Not typical place for Thailand and especially for Koh Chang. Nice pool and also they have grill. My family really enjoyed staying here. Car park is just right in front of the house. I would definitely come back here.

Great location within Koh Chang as it’s very central. Overall the hotel is very nice and spacious, great facilities and the staff do a fantastic job of looking after you, from reception staff, waiters/waitress and the cleaning staff.

Good location in White Beach at Koh Chang. Bed was comfortable and shower powerful. Staff were excellent. Happy hour cocktails highly recommended watching sunset with live band. We did get an extremely good deal for our 3 night stay.

The fan bungalows have amazing value for money. The outdoor shower is really cool and the common area and pool are just beautiful and fun to hang around. I tried a couple of hostels in Koh Chang and this was by far my favorite.

This is an excellent hostel with well thought out ideas for people coming to enjoy Koh chang at an affordable price. The pool is nice, the rooms are very clean,the breakfast is good. Also a Greta place to meet people

The place is at the most lovely location in whole koh chang , staff are the most sweet people there are !! Rooms are very clean and money worthy ! Definitely would come to this place again if visiting thailand !!

Very nice homestay and a great escape from the touristy parts of Koh Chang. Bungalow in garden with plamtrees and mangrove. The family was very helpful, It was possible to rent a scooter, arrange fishing trip etc.

This is a hidden gem with the best beach in Koh Chang with no over crowd of people. And a staff that feels like a five star hotel. You come really close with the personal who makes all the extra for your staying.
